Tomorrow is Marisa's Bat Mitzvah, and I'm so excited for it! Last year I coached Marisa in an acting and speech team called Forensics, and right away this little lady impressed me with her talent, poise, and personality. She's so much fun to be around, and I'm thrilled to be a part of this special event in her life.
Last night I took some formal photos of her and her family at their rehearsal. I'll post more after the party, but here's my favorite image from last night:

Amy and Nathan Part 2!

When last Amy, Nathan and I met, we ran out of light too fast to get everything I wanted. SO we scheduled a second engagement session, and I'm really happy we did! Here are a few more of this fantastic couple!

The Arcadian Antiques is where Nathan bought Amy her ring!

Amy likes walking shots.

I LOVE this one.

And this one... :)

I do take normal portraits as well!

First of all, for anyone waiting on photos- my sincerest apologies, and assurances that they will be done soon. I had the misfortune of getting my wisdom teeth removed a few days ago, and am just now feeling up to actually doing anything. However, Thanksgiving weekend is throwing yet another monkey wrench at me now...

Secondly, to any of my clients:

I would love to start posting your favorite photos on my blog! Choose your favorite of my photos from your wedding or portrait session (brides and grooms can each have a favorite :) ), and tell me why it's your favorite- why it means the most to you. I'd love to see what you all pick!

Sarah and Jeremy are Engaged!

****UPDATE: Their slideshow can be seen at: www.nicoleladonne.com/sarahjeremy

Sarah and Jeremy are getting married in April! I know Sarah from high school, and it was great to be able to do their engagement shoot! We did these in Sarah's parents' yard, which was very pretty, and helped make the shoot more personal. Sarah and Jeremy are one of those couples who balance each other out so well, that it's just fun to be around them.
I'm far from done editing, but here are a couple favorites so far!

Amy and Nathan are Engaged!

Amy and Nathan are such a fun couple. I had a great time hanging out with them, and realizing how similar Amy and my quirks are! :) We had a great shoot, despite starting way too late, and losing light way too quickly! I'll be doing an additional shoot with them soon, but here are a few for now!

Crystal and Daniel are Engaged!...

... and getting married soon! :) Crystal and Daniel are my Christmas Eve couple, and I'm so excited to shoot their wedding!
These two are fellow artists- Crystal is a musician, and Daniel went to art school. Because of this, I felt I really needed to up the artistic touch on their photos! I used some texturing techniques, and I just love the results!

First, a nice portrait:

I think that's a mad scientist inside that heart... :)

Sexy ring shot.

These last two are my favorites!

Nicole Ladonne Photography has a new website! Same url, so if you're having trouble seeing it, try clearing your cache.

Right now there are only two featured weddings, but that will be changed soon- there's going to be 12!

Go check it out! www.nicoleladonne.com

Jill and Josh are Engaged!

I had a great time with Jill and Josh. They're getting married next October, and as
soon as I met Jill I knew I was the photographer for her :)
Here are a couple of my favorites from their session! If you'd like to see more, you can view the slideshow HERE!

Holiday Cards!

If anyone would like Holiday cards made this year, let me know asap! We can use photos from previous sessions, or if you act fast, you may schedule a session with me in the next few weeks.
Holiday cards come in packs of 25, and cost $50.00 per pack. They are 5x7 double sided cards, and you have several templates to choose from!
Here are some examples I made with previous clients' images:
