Marissa's Bat Mitzvah!

I have sooo many blog posts to make this week! First up.. Marissa's Bat Mitzvah Preview!

I coached Marissa in Forensics a couple years back, and wow, what a difference 2 years can make on a middle schooler! She grew at least a foot since I had last seen her!
Marissa's such a sweet girl- and a bundle of energy! I love that I was able to capture her special day for her.

She's such a lady!

Jamie's Bat Mitzvah!

Jamie had her Bat Mitzvah party at Peking House in Royal Oak on Sunday! Her theme was the Olympics, so they very cleverly held it at a Chinese restaurant!

I'll start you off with some details:

I love this one of Jamie and her friends watching her slideshow.

Honoring her family and friends.

The Hamotzi

They had improv performers come from Planet Ant Theatre.

I think they were a hit.

And to end- a couple of portraits. Jamie- the Birthday girl!

Marisa's Preview!

Saturday was Marisa's Bat Mitzvah! It was unbelievable. From the decorations, to the entertainment, to beautiful Marisa herself- it was just such an amazing celebration!

I have sooo many photos to go through, but here's a little glimpse into the evening:

Marisa!

Tomorrow is Marisa's Bat Mitzvah, and I'm so excited for it! Last year I coached Marisa in an acting and speech team called Forensics, and right away this little lady impressed me with her talent, poise, and personality. She's so much fun to be around, and I'm thrilled to be a part of this special event in her life.
Last night I took some formal photos of her and her family at their rehearsal. I'll post more after the party, but here's my favorite image from last night:
